I Fear that what was once held in revere (by me)
Has now travelled out over the waves washed to sea.
The Friendship and kindness you gave me in life.
Has been stricken from you like cold butter hot knife.
For you see I never meant to hurt you,
Or put you down and away from me.
I am a man now and things I do see.
And I love you, my sister (it needs to be said)
We were the closest—you fed me your bread.
You gave me your answers and now I have lost you,
But know that the love that you gave never cost you…
It’s been on hold for some years and now I remember,
Through shrouds of Black night I hope we can assemble,
A friendship again and move forward as kin.
For that is what we’re here for and share the same skin,
Contact me,
I Love you my Sister Fi,
Chris Canham
